Q: I am studying Japanese, but I am not good at it yet. If I have a question about the class, can I send an email in my native language?
A: It is possible. However, as it will help your Japanese study, please try to ask your questions in Japanese as much as possible.
Q: I have never studied Japanese at all, can I still enroll?
Q: Is there a fine if I am unable to attend a class due to scheduling conflicts in the middle of the semester?
A: There is no fine, but you will not be able to attend the last event.
Q: Who is subject to penalties at Mirai Academy?
A: Those who spread bad ideas or strange rumors, those who solicit others, those who cannot follow or understand Mirai Academy's rules, Japanese laws, or regulations in Japan.
Q: What happens if I become subject to penalties?
A: You will be asked to leave Mirai Academy and will not be able to enroll in Mirai Academy thereafter.
Q: What is the appeal of Mirai Academy compared to Japanese language schools in my home country?
Q: Do I have to study the entire course to participate in the interview or consulting?
A: If you feel that the course is not suitable for you, please feel free to contact us. We will suggest whether you should continue taking the current course or change the course.
Q: Do you offer preparation for the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) or the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU)?
A: We are sorry, but we do not offer test preparation courses. Instead, we provide instruction in practical Japanese language, Japanese culture, business manners, rules, conversation, resume writing, and about interviews.
Q: What textbooks do you use at Mirai Academy?
A: We do not use textbooks at Mirai Academy. We teach “real” Japanese and “practical” knowledge of Japanese life that is not found in textbooks. Additionally, in order to prevent students from getting bored in class and to improve their retention rate of Japanese, we also emphasize showing short videos and having students speak in Japanese, rather than having teachers speak one-sidedly.
